Nasa TV

DirecTV just started carrying Nasa TV on their main satellite, channel on 376. There is some great stuff on this. At night, they run these old space films and material from their archives. Too bad NASA stopped marketing themselves so well. Looking at their old videos, they were like sci fi films or rock videos. Tons of eye candy, great camera angles, etc. But in the 80s, their video started to look like it was captured by a surveillance camera with no sense of artistry.

Bush vs. Lincoln

Recently, the Bush appointed head of the EAC, Soaries, requested guidance from Homeland Security regarding the possiblity of canceling the upcoming November election in case of a "terror" attack somewhere in the United States somewhere around that time. It seems that this type of "crisis" has presented its self before.

In 1864, when Washington, DC, was within five miles of Confederate General Jubal Early's attacking troops, President Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, did not even dream of cancelling, or even postponing, the 1864 elections.

"We can not have free government without elections; and if the rebellion could force us to forego, or postpone a national election it might fairly claim to have already conquered and ruined us." - Abe Lincoln

What really REALLY bugs me is the idea those Bush supporters keep trying to propagate the idea that being critical of Bush is being unpatriotic and un-American. I love this country and am proud to be an American which is WHY I want to expose Bush for the scheming liar he is!

Think of it. If I didn't love this country, wouldn't I just not care what happens to it? Major corporate interests and the military industrial complex are trying to steal my country from me. As a patriot, it's my duty to do everything within my power to keep that from happening.
