DRM comes to cell phones

Intel shows new chips for handhelds featuring DRM: ``Intel refers to as its "Wireless Trusted Platform." Intel claims that the engine gives peace of mind to both carriers and users by ensuring that wireless devices cannot be hacked, providing secure storage of private information, and enabling security protocols. The technology also provides a way to enforce copy-protection locks on content such as music or movie clips.``

The carriers will love it because it will also lock phones into their systems.

Don't buy this stuff people. Would you buy a car that only let you drive on specific roads?
